Marisela is responsible for managing the accounting and financial processes on a daily basis as well as looking after CSER internal financial procedures, reporting and month/year end tasks.
She has worked in similar roles at the Medical Library and the Department of Earth Sciences at the University since 2016 as well as limited companies including Booking.com, Toshiba Research Laboratory and Domino Printing Sciences from 2003 to 2016. She completed a Certificate in Accounting at CIMA in the UK.
She is originally from Mexico where she studied a Bachelor’s in Political Sciences and Public Administration and a Master Degree in Rural Development where she became first aware of the government policies and modern life impact on land and water followed by work on Participative Research and Development Projects for Women in Rural Areas.
