A Family Buisness

A show about how not to blow up the planet. Written and performed by Chris Thorpe, develpped with Rachel Chavkin and Lekan Lawal, and directed by Claire O'Reilly.

We don't really talk about nuclear weapons much. Even though they accompany us everwhere. Invisible guests in cafes, on the shelves of supermarkets, in line at the cash machine. Guests that could destory all of that and more in a second.

A Family Buisness is about diplomats, actitivts, and a journey to chaneg the world. If these weaspons could wipe out all of our tomorrows, then why aren't we all talking about them today?

In partnership with Theatres de la Ville Luxembourg. Supported by Warwick Arts Centre and using public funding by the National Lottery through ArtsCouncil England.

There wil be a post-show discussion with Kate Hudson, the General Secretary of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and Paul Ingram, Academic Programme Manager and Senior Research Associate for CSER.
